THE CODE OF CIVIL PROCEDURE, 1908

ACT NO. 5 OF 19081                      [21st March, 1908.]

An Act to consolidate and amend the laws relating to the procedure of the Courts of Civil Judicature.

WHEREAS it is expedient to consolidate and amend the laws relating to the procedure of the Courts of Civil Judicature : It is hereby enacted as follows : —

Section - 6.

Pecuniary jurisdiction.—

Save in so far as is otherwise expressly provided, nothing herein contained shall operate to give any Court jurisdiction over suits the amount or value of the subject-matter of which exceeds the pecuniary limits (if any) of its ordinary jurisdiction.

आर्थिक क्षेत्राधिकार।-

जहां तक अन्यथा स्पष्ट रूप से प्रदान किया गया है, को छोड़कर, यहां निहित कुछ भी किसी भी न्यायालय के अधिकार क्षेत्र को उस विषय-वस्तु की राशि या मूल्य के अनुरूप नहीं देगा जो उसके सामान्य क्षेत्राधिकार की आर्थिक सीमा (यदि कोई हो) से अधिक हो।
